Dog Blood are making their return with the announcement of the Movement Detroit Festival (phase one), alongside Disclosure and numerous others.
The festival takes place at Hart Plaza in Detroit Memorial Day Weekend (May 23rd - 25th) and has been called "a valentine to the birthplace of techno..." by Rolling Stone.
To that end, you'll get Richie Hawtin, Kevin Sanderson, Carl Craig and more, but Movement's musical offerings are far from niche. The festival casts a wide array of talent from hip hip (Danny Brown, Snoop, and more) to... the return of Dog Blood! That's Boyz Noize and Skrillex for those who have forgotten.
Best of all, Movement continues to ignore corporate influence by maintaining independence. “Detroit sets the tone for the world," said festival director Jason Huvaere, "and we are going to be very cautious to anything presented to us that doesn’t put the city first."
It's an impressive festival that numerous publications have listed in their top charts (including us). Check out more info on the official site. Three-day GA tickets start at $130.
