New Flying Lotus Video For "Coronous, The Terminator"
Are you read for the New Flying Lotus Video...?
WARP Records recording artist Flying Lotus has just dropped the new video directed by Young Replicant. It's gritty, dark, haunting, creepy and all that. We LOVE it. FL continues to further the notion that electronic music is more than just 4/4 dance music reviving the downtempo and left field genres almost single handedly for a new generation of electronic music fans.
For me, Coronus is one of the most important moments on Youre Dead! and holds ideas im planning to explore in my future work. Im happy that the visual encapsulates the meaning of the record and this ambition.
– Flying Lotus
Official Release:
Among collaborations with some of the most recognizable voices in music (Kendrick Lamar, Thom Yorke, Snoop Dogg, Erykah Badu to name a few), FlyLo has often used his own voice as texture, timbre and backing. With Coronus, The Terminator it is to the fore, marking his continued evolution from producer into producer and performer.
Flying Lotus was recently announced for Coachella 2015, Governors Ball and Bonaroo in the USA and is heading for his biggest ever London headline show at Brixton Academy. Expect to see many more major live announcements in the coming months.
In addition, Flylos BBC Radio 1 Residency (UK) starts this Thursday January 15th and continues on the second Thursday of each month until June. Tune in between 10pm and midnight to listen. I still cant believe this is about to happen. Itll be a pleasure to invade the UK airwaves for the months ahead.
