It's all about what you do with the time you have, right? What if the time you had was 72 hours of nonstop sunlight and music?
Every summer there's a place where the sun literally doesn't to go down, where the music refuses to stop, and where the people are constantly partying. This place is the Secret Solstice festival. And it's going down once again in Reykjavík, Iceland (except for the sun of course).
The sunsoaked festival just announced their initial lineup but they plan on over 150 different acts by the time it begins. So far, this includes artists like Detroit Swindle, Zero 7, FM Belfast and dozens of others. If you're looking for bigger names, keep in mind that last year ended up featuring Disclosure, Massive Attack, Schoolboy Q, Carl Craig and Damian Lazarus - so plenty more are to come.
But to be honest, do you really need a reason to go to a place as beautiful as Iceland during Summer Solstice where there's 72 hours of golden sunlight? There's a time and place to expand your horizons to infinity and that place is this festival and that time is June 19th - 21st.
Tickets are available now starting at $119 with additional camping options available. This and more info can be found on the official website. See below for the first phase of the lineup.
The lineup so far includes:
ZERO 7 (DJ)
MOFF & TARKIN
