It's the Mad Decent Block Party that asks "Would you, could you, on a boat?" And there's no doubt people will be going HAM once again. The Mad Decent Boat Party just announced it will return for a second year this fall.
Mad Decent might still be in the wake of other cruises like Holy Ship! and Groove Cruise, but it's using the same vessel as the latter. The 4-day cruise is boarding in Miami on November 11th and setting course to Cozumel, Mexico. More specifically, the Playa Mia Grand Beach & Water Park. Passengers will also be treated to a private beach party.
The ship will be led by captained by Diplo of course, but the rest of the lineup remains unknown at this point. What is (kind of) known is how crazy the party was in its inaugural year:
We downed more than a few bottles of Fireball, so it’s a little hazy – but we know last year’s Mad Decent Boat Party was full of insane surprises. Like when Skrillex snuck on the ship for a massive Jack Ü set. Or when Flosstradamus got EVERYBODY in the mosh pit. And who could forget that epic MadFam stampede into the ocean on our private island with Major Lazer?! - Mad Decent Boat Party
You can register for pre-sale tickets here. Keep in mind there's only room for 2,700 MadFam members so act fast. We may be running out of land to support the festival boom, but we still have the high seas!
Last year was a flop in the best way possible. What will it be this year?
