Record-breaking Subwoofer Debuting With Erick Morillo

Erick Morillo is bringing his Subliminal Sounds Sessions back to Avalon this Saturday for a special Grammy weekend performance. And you can hear it in record-breaking fashion.

Avalon will be debuting its new 40-inch subwoofer, designed by the venue's founder John Lyons. The sub is not only breaking the record, but basically doubling it from the previous standard of 21 inches. If you have yet to see the Avalon grand remodel, now would be the perfect opportunity and a chance to experience the future of low frequencies.

The Colombian-American DJ is known for his extended sets, and this time he is stepping it up by playing all night long. With all the celebrities in town for the Grammys, you’ll never know who may show up at the Erick Morillo show.

Avalon is already known for being an after hours hot spot in Hollywood, standing out in a scene flooded with nightlife locations, by staying open to 5 a.m. or later. Doubling their 21-inch inch sub isn't going to help us get any sleep either.
