The Top Ten House Music Chart - 2.5.15

The year 2015 is finally off to start thanks to a massive top ten chart I have for you this week. I actually had about twenty tunes but after all this is the top ten so I will give you the ten best as prescribed. Tamed Musiq is back on top this week with another stellar remix of a Headless Ghost tune but this time from the up and coming talent, North Lake! Plus, Hot Creations is back in my chart along with Exploited as well. Did I mention Sade is in here too? Now press play and start enjoying another amazing ten house tunes.

1. “Neverending Stories (North Lake Remix)” Headless Ghost, Tamed Musiq

Isaac Delongchamp aka North Lake has demonstrated the keen ability to take the original version of an amazing tune and turn it into something equally amazing yet completely different. He did this flawlessly in 2014 with DJ Tennis' "Anatomy" and also with Maceo Plex's "Solitary Daze" and for his first remix outing of 2015, he's taken on Headless Ghost's exquisite tune entitled "Neverending Stories" for what could be his finest achievement yet. Keep an eye out for more from North Lake as I expect to see big things from him in the coming months.

2. “Fault Lines (Dauwd Remix)” Beacon, Ghostly

I just heard Joris Voorn play this in his essential mix so I may be late to the party on this one as it was released almost a month ago but it's not too late to rave about how utterly brilliant Dauwd's remix of Beacon's "Fault Lines" is.

3. “Pearls (Timo Jahns Remix)” Sade, Poesie Musik

About a year ago, Timo Jahns turned out this incredible edit of Sade's 1992 single "Pearls" and now she and the record company have given the official approval for a proper release. Sade is one of a kind and Timo Jahns has done a very respectful remix of this already classic vocal by the songstress. Music doesn't get much more beautiful than this.

4. “Magical Shoes” Compuphonic feat. Marques Toliver, Exploited

Exploited takes the honor of having one of the most consistent labels in all of house music, if not all of electronic music. This particular release is of course no exception either as Belgian producer, Compuphonic re-unites with Marques Toliver after their mammoth tune "Sunset" from 2012.

5. “Our Love” Weiss, Toolroom

The UK producer known as Weiss is behind some of the biggest house bangers over the past couple of years such as "My Sister" from 2013 & "The Guitar Man" from last year and here he is with what may be his biggest one to date "Our Love". Turn this one up very loud!

6. “Stay Low" Miclem, We Play House Recordings

Yes, the We Play House Summer Special 2014 EP is coming out soon but not in 2014 and not in the Summer either. Stay tuned though for this one because it's a big one that features four highly diverse tracks that each stand up extremely well on their own. My pick of the four goes to "Stay Low" which is by an unknown producer by the name of Miclem. "Stay Low" features a building organ lead that will surely take an entire dance-floor into a frenzy.

7. “Cranes (Kolsch Remix)" Monkey Safari, Radio Hommage

Danish producer Kolsch puts his anthemic touch on Monkey Safari's latest choon, "Cranes".

8. “Low Frequency" Denney, Hot Creations

Hot Creations artist Denney brings the high energy acid and hip-house sound to the Pimp Out EP on the lead cut "Low Frequency".

9. “Unison Wax 03" Diego Krause, Unison Wax

This vinyl-only release on Diego Krause's own vinyl imprint Unison Wax is available now for purchase through most online vinyl retailers.

10. “Mr W00D" Fold, ManMakeMusic

The DJ/producer Rob Glassett known as Fold delivers a stunning three-tracker full of deep, disco, & garage vibes that is sure to satisfy any connoisseur of this genre we called house music. Out now both digitally and on vinyl as well.
