Lollapalooza just announced their lineup for this year and it features one particular artist to pay attention to.
Dillon Francis, Kygo, Kaskade, Alesso, Nicky Romero, Hot Chip, Bassnectar, The Chainsmokers, DJ Snake, Boys Noize... for a festival that used to have little to do with electronic music, the Lallapalooza 2015 lineup is flooded with artificial sounds. (Full lineup below)
It's much better company for Kaskade than Paris Hilton, who was just announced as his EDM counterpart of sorts at the world's largest music festival.
Most interesting though is NERO. The bassy trio had virtually disappeared for nearly a year. After putting out a remix on Rolling Stone in June and announcing a new album in the works shortly thereafter, they were pretty much inactive until just last week. That's when they dropped their first real single in about four years.
After being listed on the Coachella lineup, NERO are now set on the Lollapalooza lineup. If for some reason you needed an extra push to get yourself to Chicago, this should be it. Who knows what they've been building up for in the dark.
The 3-day passes are sold out but you can still get a 1-day pass! The festival returns to Grant Park in Chicago from July 31 - August 2nd.
UPDATE: All GA tickets now appear to be sold out. Premium passes appear to be available. Visit www.lollapalooza.com for more info.
