Top 10 House Tracks – 3.15.15 Chart

Top 10 House Tracks – 3.15.15 Chart

After sorting through about 500 Miami ready tunes, I was able to narrow them down to ten absolutely amazing choices. No fillers, no killers, and all thrillers in the chart including another completely epic remix by Joris Voorn, a candidate for tune of the Summer by Reboot, and yet another one by Dosem who can't seem to find his way out of the weekly top ten chart. Buy these tunes and keep them in your arsenal for your next soiree.

1. “I Had This Thing (Joris Voorn Remix)” Royksopp, Green

The last couple of years for Joris Voorn have proven to be his most prolific thanks to a string of successful musical accomplishments such as the ethereal single "Ringo" from 2013 and his critically acclaimed full length album from last year. He continue his musical superiority here with his magical re-touch of the already amazing "I Had This Thing" by the Norwegian maestros, Royksopp!

2. “The Frenchie Thing” Reboot, Defected

Remember "La Mezcla" by Michel Cleis from about five years ago? Well, Reboot's latest bright and summery tune entitled "The Frenchie Thing" is likely to make a similar impact in the dance music world this Summer. So put away that screw-face and expect to smile ear to ear while this sun-drenched beauty tickles both your ears and soul.

3. “Retrovision” Kevin Over, Noir Music

Kevin Over first popped up on my radar a few months ago with his dancefloor rocking "Jus A" and now here he his back again on Noir Music with the stellar "Retrovision" off of his latest EP. Kevin Over may not be making an appearance in Miami for the conference but this track will definitely make many appearances.

4. “Tourist Trap (Jamie Jones "For Ryan" Remix)" Guy Gerber & Puff Daddy, Rumors

I may be crazy but I thought that Jamie Jones' legendary re-rub of Guy Gerber & Puff Daddy's "Tourist Trap" was released almost five years ago. However, it appears it never was so here it is with a few new remixes including Visionquest, Soul Clap, & even a new re-touch by Guy Gerber himself.

5. “Vapourspace" Sasha, Last Night On Earth

It's no secret that Sasha very likely prepared this extremely massive tune just in time for him to drop it in all of his sets this coming WMC.

6. “The Glitch" Mr Tophat & Art Alfie, Karlovak

The sought after tune on this two tracker is the epic 14 minute tune, "House Music" but on the flip side of this vinyl only release lies this psychadelic stomper by the name of "The Glitch".

7. “Take Some House (Riva Starr Edit)" Dj Roland Clark, Paul C, & Paolo Martini, Saved Records

Riva Starr delivers a pristine mashup of DJ Roland Clark's "The First Time" and Paul C & Paolo Martini's "Take Some Time." on Nic Fanciulli's always brilliant Saved imprint. Another one expected to fill many floors in Miami!!

8. “Jealousy (House Mix)" Roisin Murphy, Crosstown Rebels

Roisin Murphy & Crosstown Rebels are both respectively an artist and a label that are mainstays in the dance music industry and they are both on fire at the moment! Roisin Murphy is the legendary Moloko vocalist who is hot on the heels of her gorgeous collaboration with Luca C & Brigante. Crosstown Rebels has been around for over ten years now but the imprint has been as consistent as ever lately. In hindsight, we may look back at Roisin Murphy and Crosstown Rebels as both just getting started in 2015.

9. “Ready" Dosem, Suara

The energetic tech-house sound of Dosem is here and it's not going anywhere thanks to his unrelenting rhythms and impeccable fills that hit in all the right spots.

10. “Signs (Rødhåd Remix)" Howling, Monkeytown Records

The 9th best DJ of 2014 according to Resident Advisor voters offers up a delicately beautiful touch on the forbidding "Signs" by Howling.
