Want To Party In A Bank Vault?

Festival Brings Back Historic Raves

Thought to be extinct, some of the most iconic underground parties are coming back to life. And you can get tickets.

Getting their does of life blood from the Red Bull Music Academy, Frankie Bones' Storm Rave from the 90s and Venus Xs recently (and controversially) shut down GHE20GOTH1K are making a comeback. Just another example of Red Bull  giving wings apparently.

The Red Bull Music Academy announced the news of the zombie parties along with full info on their NYC Festival. The month-long event is part festival, part best-school-on-Earth. It will feature live performances and club nights along with lectures and workshops at some of New York's most stunning venues.

One party for Tri Angle Records will be thrown in an abandoned Wall Street bank vault with acts like Holy Other, The Haxan Cloak, Forest Swords and Evian Christ.

Twenty events have been scheduled in total. Others include an all-new live concept at media and arts space BRIC House from PC Music & SOPHIE, a local takeover from tropical bass collective Que Bajo?!, and a daytime outdoor dancehall party. FKA twigs will also feature an all-new live show.

Public conversations from A$AP Rocky, George Clinton and minimalist pioneer La Monte Young, are just a few of the other kind of educational bits to chew on.

The Red Bull Music Academy NYC will take place May 1 - 30th, 2015. Tickets are available now.
