I happen to know somebody from Australia who is appalled at how much American's use the word "awesome". I don't have a problem with it - and I say it all the time. But calling a song "awesome" just crosses the line, even for me. While we're speaking in simplified hyperbole...

David Guetta "shocked" audiences at the end of his Coachella set by teaming up with The Black Eyed Peas live on stage. They debuted this new song "Awesome" and I can only imagine how awesome it was - because their isn't an official stream to actually hear it and I wasn't at the show. In fact, our #TeamFauxchella has worse things to see.

Jokes aside, we can only judge the book by its title at this point so that's what we're doing. This isn't Guetta's first time with the group either. He was featured on their song "I Gotta Feeling" back in 2009 and later helped produce one of their albums.

You can, however, listen to Guetta's latest chart-scotching number "Hey Mama" with Nicki Minaj & Afrojack. That single is from his latest album Listen released this past November. Is it accurate to say his other singles aren't "Awesome"?
