What a night this past Saturday at the Valley View Casino Center for Life in Color SD. It was one of the best time I’ve had in a while actually. Not only was the line-up on point, but man the production was top notch. I really enjoyed the design of the stage, as well as the intricate objects that were afloat the crowd. Not to mention the creative outfits for the performers and dancers. It was a lot to handle all in one night, but by far one of the most rambunctious parties in San Diego I’ve attended.
Vicetone did a great job of getting the night started. They have recently gaining lots of traction with some of their new music. I highly suggest you check out their Ultra 2015 set, as it will be one you'll put on repeat. Tritonal followed that up with such a uplifting set. This is a great duo to headline a wild party like this. We got to hear all of the classics, accompanied with some new tracks they have been working on. Most of the night from both headliners, we got to hear a majority of progressive sounds. I really did enjoy that, especially with the multitude of mash-ups that we put together was insane. These DJ's may not be the biggest in EDM, but their music has passion and purpose. You could really see the crowd feel the unity because of it.
We finally got to the last set of the of the night and did not want it to end. To finish of this show with some bouncy trap, Herobust jumped on the decks. He took the crowd by storm with his creative set. From the grimy dubstep to the bouncy trap, he ended the night with a elegant bang. Overall, this event has set the bar higher in my opinion for further shows in San Diego. It’s one concert you need to add to the bucket list!
