11-Year-Old Australian Producer Nails His First Festival Set

The name Black Summer has low key been floating around the world of dance music lately, mostly in Australia where an 11-year-old producer has been garnering some major buzz. Deadmau5 already gave him kudos in his weird kind of way where you aren't really sure if he's being serious or not, but the whole thing is no joke.

He is not just some young kid that learned how to DJ. Black Summer is a producer first and foremost, and although like himself his sound is very young, the spotlight is all his. Boy wonder has apparently been producing for "five or six years" now, according to triple j who paid him a visit to his house in Canberra.

Here it is...Some of Black Summer's first set....pumping out his original track "Toxic Nirvana" to around 10,000 fans!!!!

Now that hype has been transferred from the studio to his first festival set, when Grooving The Moo rolled into his hometown recently. Black Summer dropped a quick surprise set in front of 10,000 people before Carmada came on, reppin an OWSLA shirt and dropping his original track "Toxic Nirvana." While straying more towards the big room and EDM side of things, there's no denying that people are enjoying what is going down.

You can watch the performance now and judge for yourself, but the rising artist who has already claimed the official title of Australia's Youngest Producer has some great momentum right now. Flume already posted about him on his Facebook, which is basically the official Australian seal of approval. Learn more about Black Summer below via triple j Unearthed.
