Last night in Manhattan at the Triangle Records 5th anniversary party with Red Bull Music Academy, the elusive Icelandic singer Björk appeared and played a surprise DJ set. Sporting all black clothes and an insane face mask that looked like something straight out a horror movie, she stepped up to the decks and gave those in attendance an unexpected performance.
One Facebook user described the set as "bare persian vocals over badly produced industrial instrumental grime vibes," but to be honest that sounds pretty sick. Regardless of what she played, it's her dance moves that we can't stop watching.
In this quick clip from FACT Magazine's Instagram, we get a taste of those persian vibes with Björk dancing like an absolute lunatic. It's like she's doing the Soulja Boy "Crank That" dance but just awkwardly swinging her arms inwards towards themselves.
It's like a child begging their parents for candy and just hopping up and down and spinning in circles. It's kind of like an inverted windmill dance move, but either way we love it. We're calling it the Björk shuffle, and it's about to be the hottest dance move of summer 2015.
