What’s up future bass fans? I’m back once again with the top 10 future bass tracks. Just a heads up, saw Shlohmo’s incredible live show last Thursday, and I’ll be posting an event recap in the next few days, so keep an eye out for that. Hope you dig this week’s selections!
The Point Point collective’s Filet Mingon mixtapes have been getting better and better. Their latest volume features this experimental beast of a track from Nomak. Not really sure if there’s a genre to even describe this, but whatever it is, I love it.
IMLAY’s plucked melodies give “Empress” an oriental vibe befitting both the track’s title and artwork.
“A Milli (Dabow & Luude Flip)”
Lil Wayne’s ubiquitous hip-hop banger gets a future flip from Dabow and Luude.
“Fantasy (Pomo Remix)”
Alina Baraz & Galimatias
Pomo’s latest work is a bright and colorful house tune. This one is perfect for any day/pool party action.
“Ain’t That Peculiar (Beshken Remix)”
Marvin Gaye like you’ve never heard him before. I had to include this one in this week’s top 10 future bass tracks. Beshken’s vibe production gets me every time.
“Waiting…… ft. Ben Abraham”
BenZel’s latest offering mixes huge drum samples with ambient and atmospheric synths with a soulful James Blake-y outro.
“Scylla (King Henry Remix)”
Scylla gets a remix from Team Supreme royalty. Kneel before the one true king (Sorry, I’m in a Game of Thrones mood, had to say it).
Deon Custom x KRNE
KRNE has made his way onto yet another top 10 future bass tracks with this massive future bass collaboration with Deon Custom.
This track somehow perfectly captures the vibe of the 110 North freeway, which I always take to get back to Pasadena from Downtown LA or Hollywood.
“Back Up On It (Vices Remix)”
Dougie F & DJ Fire
Dougie F & DJ Fire’s jersey club anthem gets a fresh remix from Vices.
