Top 10 House Tracks Of The Week – 7.2.15 Chart

Hello again my fellow house-heads and welcome back to another top ten chart loaded with ten forward-thinking choons courtesy of yours truly. The tunes for the head are indeed present in this particular chart but  more so are the tunes for the body. Highlights from the chart include the bass-line ruler Detlef, master of the discotech Mark Knight, and of course our number one house banger of the week by Philip Bader!

1. “Amor (Philip Bader Remix)” S-Man, Snatch! Records

Berlin's Philip Bader has been busy constructing some dance-floors destroying tunes lately but his re-rub of "Amor" by S-Man aka Roger Sanchez is easily his biggest hitter yet. Expect this one to be hammered by the likes of Darius Syrossian, Sidney Charles, and/or Matthias Tanzmann in a massive warehouse space near you.

2. “Acamar” Frankey & Sandrino, Innervisions

The Innervisions releases are few and far between and it is very telling why there are so few releases in comparison to other big players in the industry. The quality of each release no matter who signs on is usually stellar and their latest release from Frankey & Sandrino entitled "Acamar" is of course no exception.

3. “One Of Us (Detlef Remix)” Sabb feat. Forrest, Moon Harbour

French producer Detlef first caught my attention with his fantastic remix of Hot Since 82's "The Core" and he's back on my radar again as he's taken Sabb's tech-house gem "One Of Us".

4. “Second Story” Mark Knight, Suara

Pete Tong's most recent essential new tune comes from the Toolroom boss himself Mark Knight who makes his debut on Spain's biggest imprint at the moment, Suara!

5. “Everybody's Freakin'” System2, VIVa MUSiC

For the past couple of years, the Mancunian duo known as System2 have been busy establishing their specific sound of funky yet hypnotic house music and on "Everybody's Freakin'", it appears that they have nearly mastered this sound!

6. “NY House (Nico Brun Remix)” John Kimble, Rough Recordings

The latest EP on German based deep house imprint Rough Recordings comes from Stuttgart producer John Kimble. This well-rounded 4-tracker features a hard-hitting remix of "NY House" by Nico Brun that would appeal to the likes of Waze & Odyssey, Detroit Swindle, and even Dusky.

7. “Lamaj” Brame & Hamo, Dirt Crew Recordings

For those that wonder what real deep house music is meant to sound like, look no further.

8. “Square Root” Kattison, Last Night On Earth

Sasha's Last Night On Earth imprint only employs the very cutting edge of forward thinking smooth electronic music and this latest release by relative newcomer Kattison is a smooth and minimal affair with a bit of glitch, dub, & reverb.

9. “Safari” YDNA, Exploited Ghetto

A mysterious producer by the name of YDNA sent this exotic tune to Exploited and it has since seen support from the likes of Adriatique, Maxxi Soundsystem, and Dusky!

10. “Mr Bass” andhim & Super Flu, Monaberry

Two of Germany's biggest duos at the moment team up for an all-star collaboration entitled, "Mr" Bass".
