Fawks Is Bringing LA's Take On Future House To The World

A few months ago, we released a list of 20 rising producers shaping the LA club scene. Names like Ghastly, SNBRN, Justin Jay, and Hotel Garuda were obvious picks, with each artist rapidly developing their fan base and individual sound these past few years. One producer that was much less established than the aforementioned names at the time was Fawks.

Although he was just beginning to pick up some heat, we wanted to jump on that bus early. We had a feeling things were truly about to start picking up, and that is exactly what happened. The last few months have been paved by nothing but big moments from the Icon Collective graduate. An official remix of SNBRN, a big RL Grime flip premiered via Nest HQ, signing to Circle Talent Agency for booking, and now a two-song release via Ministry Of Sound Australia.

First up is "No Sleep," a floor-rattling anthem that was originally unveiled over eight months ago and has already racked up over 300,000 plays since then. Futuristic production meets an addicting top-line, perfect for those late nights where leaving the club is not an option. This track was a huge part of his initial success, so having "No Sleep" officially released on a major label is big for Yung Fawks.

Next up is "Stars & Bars," featuring quick-paced hip-hop lyrics delivered over a future house beat. It's the type of sound crowds are truly digging these days, and Fawks clearly shows how Los Angeles does club culture with his own take. You can stream both tracks in full now, and purchase on Beatport if you are feeling generous.
