The Top 10 House Tracks Of The Week – 8.26.15

The Top 10 House Tracks Of The Week – 8.26.15

There may be only one month of Summer left but there's plenty of new house music to fill that void including our number one tune of the week by Kate Simko & Jamie Jones which in production value, supersedes almost anything that has been released so far this year. Michel Cleis is second on the chart with what may be his huge follow up Summer hit which stands up next to "La Mezcla". In addition, there are a few other star producers in the chart as well such as Dubfire, Claptone, and even dance music's newest star, &ME!

1. “One Time Game” Jamie Jones, Kate Simko and London Electronic Orchestra ft Jem Cooke, Emerald City

Jamie Jones & Lee Foss' brand new imprint Emerald City was designed to showcase dance music that possesses more of a song structure or pop sensibility rather than the typical four on the floor fire that the Hot Creations camp is known for. This second issue of the label features the stellar production team of Jamie Jones & Kate Simko along with her live orchestral project known as The London Electronic Orchestra which she has been showcasing to multiple sold out shows all over London since earlier this year. In addition, "One Time Game" features UK songstress Jem Cooke who lends her flawless vocal on this stellar tune.

Both Jamie Jones & Kate Simko have done a fairly outstanding job of rocking dance-floors everywhere for quite some time but with their resume and now this magnificent production under their belt, they may be on their way to stardom beyond clubland.

I present you with "One Time Game" which is not just the top tune on this week's house music chart, it is arguably the top tune of any genre this week!

2. “Marvinello” Michel Cleis & Klement Bonelli Feat. Martin Wilson, Rebirth Records

Michel Cleis once bestowed the honor of claiming the unofficial tune of the summer with "La Mezcla" and it appears he may get really close to that accolade once again on his collaboration with Klement Bonelli entitled "Marvinello"!

3. “On Fire” m.O.N.R.O.E., Get Physical

Jordan Postrel aka m.O.N.R.O.E. is a Miami native who I met last year on the Circo Loco terrace in Ibiza through a mutual friend. Almost one year later give or a take a few weeks, his latest EP What I Got just hit my inbox and it features the aptly titled track, "On Fire" which is almost quite literally just that! Turn this one up because this dance-floor destroyer is not meant to be listened to at low volume.

4. “Halo (H.O.S.H.'s Boy Remix)” ABBY, 2DIY4

After a noticeable three month absence from the remixing world, well-respected German producer H.O.S.H. is back with a couple of phenomenal peak-time remixes of Abby's "HALO" which is out now on Diynamic's sister label 2DIY4!

5. “Vermillion (&ME Remix)” Damian Lazarus & The Ancient Moons, Crosstown Rebels

Jamie Jones, Deniz Kurtel, & Agoria have all taken their turns at remixing Damian Lazarus' dance music hit "Vermillion". Although, a long overdue remix comes from the German phenom known simply as &ME who has been busy turning the music world upside down lately with his woody & rhythmic take on dance music through his remixes and his own productions as well.
