Welcome to week #2 of the future house chart! Let's all head down to the Gungan city and see what future bass gems are waiting for us. And if you enjoy these tracks, be sure to check out last week's chart.
1. “Everyday", AC Slater, OWSLA
The Night Bass don released the big Take the Night EP on OWSLA today, and amongst some nice collabs including a reunion with Dell Harris, included this huge future house piece as the EP's lead single. "Get up, bitch," it roars before getting down and gritty. It's being called 'UK meets LA' by a lot of the SoundCloud comments.
2. “Hustle Hard (Habstrakt remix)", Dirtyphonics & UZ feat. Trinidad Jame$ , Dim Mak
"You gotta hustle till you die," declares Trinidad Jame$ in this bass house flip that Habstrakt premiered yesterday. It'll be out on September 4.
3. “Rock the Party”, EPHWURD x JAUZ, Spinnin'
Every year, someone plays a track at a festival main stage so dance-inducing that the entire audience turns into a synchronized ocean of movement that even touches the people standing and watching in the very back. This year at HARD Summer, that artist was JAUZ, & "Rock the Party" day 2's anthem. Now if we could just figure out what that ID was.
4. “At Night (Basalto & Noesis bootleg)”, Shakedown
Relatively unknown producers Basalto & Noesis (couldn't even find Noesis on Facebook) sent us this demo this week, and we appreciate the rush it provides. It doesn't try to outdo the original's classic instrumental, instead admitting its big-room house aspirations and using the original's vocals to bring a bit of familiarity onto the dance floor before throwing all caution to the wind with a smooth future house drop.
5. “After Life (Valy Mo remix)”, Tchami
The remixes on Tchami's "After Life" EP are getting played everywhere, but unfortunately there were some tough decisions to be made for a remix release of this size. What a shame that this got left off the official remix EP, cause it's great. On the bright side, Valy Mo has put it up for free download.
6. “Pump The Beat”, ak9
Generic name and second build aside, ak9 succeeds in making a fun, loose drop.
7. “U Got 2”, AC Slater
Another track from AC Slater's new Take the Night EP.
8. “Curiosity”, Bingo Players, Hysteria
Bingo Players tries its hand at future house, and lands on relaxed, throwback vibes with a modern flourish.
9. “Hunger”, Jacob Plant, Dim Mak
Jacob Plant had such a distinct sound before he went future house that it's a bit of a sad thing to see him leave it behind for the trends, but if he keeps making dark future house at this production capacity, few will be complaining.
10. “Saxo”, ANIELLO, Housesessions
ANIELLO combines two trends, saxophone melodies and future house, for a cool hybrid tune.
