Top 10 Trap And Bass Tracks — 8.3.15 Chart

“Flash Drive (feat. Baby)”
Wave Racer
Future Classic

Wave Racer lands the #1 spot on this week’s top 10 trap and bass tracks with the first release from his long awaited upcoming EP,

”Still Hood”
Big Dope P
Activia Benz

Big Dope P blends the usual over the top experimental vibes that Activia Benz is known for with heavy trap influences.

“6 God (Catt Moop Instinct Mix)”

After the 6 God’s big win over Meek Mill, there hasn’t been a more appropriate time for a Drizzy remix. Catt Moop gave this tune the perfect future music flip complete with a heavy bass line, booming 808’s, and a glistening arpeggiated melody that flutters above the rest of the track.

“FDB (Chahine Remix)”
Young Dro

Super smooth future vibes from Chahine on this one. Gotta love that sax sample.

Blank Body

As many of you know, I don’t limit my charts strictly to trap and bass music, and I’m a big fan of super weird experimental electronic styles. This definitely falls into that category. Blank Body takes that wonky off kilter Mr. Carmack style to another level of craziness.

“XE3 (Wheathin Turn)”

Wheathin puts a Flume style flip on Mssingno’s underground club classic XE3.

Juelz comes through with a fresh chill trap tune with a well placed sample of Major Lazer’s “Aerosol Can”.

“Amen ft. Kanye West & Young Jeezy (Hudson Mohawke Remix)”
Pusha T

I never thought this remix would come out, but here it is 3 years later. Better late than never. Hudson Mohawke adds his signature style to this one with a hypnotic drum beat and mesmerizing synths.

“Worth It”
Danny Brown + Clams Casino

One of my favorite rappers and one of my favorite producers join forces for this extremely weird and unconventional tune for the Adult Swim Singles series.

”Note To My Future Self”
Record Record

Nomak’s Weight Loss Program EP is one of the most impressive releases I’ve heard from anyone in the trap, bass, and future music genres. This track sounds a little like Chet Faker on an insane amount of hallucinogens.
