This week we've gone deep into the vast catalogue of trap and bass music to deliver a selection that will have subwoofers rattling with low frequencies. We've got some artists you may recognize and some others you definitely won't, but isn't that the best thing about these selections? You find something new with every one. Enjoy the beats and check back for our next installment next week.
Wave Racer feat. Lido
Wave Racer and Lido landed the #1 spot on this week's top 10 trap and bass tracks with their future bass collaboration that seamlessly merges their unique styles together.
The latest from Murlo exhibits elements of grime instrumentals, club music, and future bass all in the same tune. The track will be available on his Odyssey EP out via Mixpak November 6th.
"Lit (Ur Pal Remix)"
Ur Pal twists Loudpvck's "Lit" into a jarring percussive monster with heavy 808's booming beneath the floorboards.
"Test Subject X"
This one is easily the heaviest track on this week's chart. It really does sound like a lab experiment gone wrong.
With 57k soundcloud followers and 100k+ plays on each of his tracks, its hard to believe that Cavalier is only 17. His latest is a heavy, downtempo future beat/chill trap tune worthy of a place on this week's top 10 trap and bass tracks.
"Say It (Phazz Remix)"
Tory Lanez & Ed Sheeran
Phazz flips this one into a melodic chill trap monster.
"Here (Vincent Remix)"
Vincent shows us that almost any track can be improved by a downtempo future bass remix.
Is that Odesza? No, its pop music producer Felix Snow's solo project featuring 16 year old industry newcomer Madi on vocal duties.
With grime MC's like Skepta popularizing the underground genre, its nice to see producers also exploring the more melody driven side of things. Shoutout to Glacci for this one.
"Whateva U Want"
Kaytranada closes out this week's top 10 trap and bass tracks with a fresh original that's available for free download.
