If you have followed Oneohtrix Point Never, you should never be surprised by anything he does. Don't be alarmed if this your first listen and don't question your taste in music if you happen to like his work, plenty of people do. He's a creative wiz who has managed to create amazing productions out of bizarre sound arrangements that somehow complement each other in a brilliant way. He really is a mad genius and his forthcoming album, Garden of Delete, will give us more proof.
'Mutant Standard' possesses techno and trance elements with his own experimental flair that fans have grown accustomed to. His music has always been strangely appealing. You listen to it and you're like, "this shouldn't sound good, but I can't stop listening!" He surprises you with every note and to some it may sound like just jumbled up noise, but to those who are able to open their minds to the infinite possibilities of the univers, it's a symphony of electronica. Listen to 'Mutant Standard' below and hear for yourself.
Garden of Delete by Oneohtrix Point Never is due out November 13th via Warp.
