RIP Diane Charlemagne

Diane Charlemagne of Urban Cookie Outfit stepped onto the scene with her soulful and emotive vocals that resonated throughout every track she ever sang on. Her most noteworthy work came on Drum and Bass tracks produced by Goldie called 'Inner City Life' and 'Kemistry'. Outside the DnB realm she sang on tracks for Joey Negro, Japanese House producer Satoshi Tomiie as well as spending a lengthy amount of time touring with Moby.

Charlemagne passed away this morning after a battle with cancer. Her twitter broke the news by stating, "So she went into the early morning... God rest her soul #diane what a gifted voice."

Listen to 'Inner City Life' by Goldie below to get a feel for her amazing style and grace. She will be sorely missed.
