Hudson Mohawke constantly shows us his artistic side with his music and visual output. This time he's tapped Nic Hamilton and Dominic Flannigan to put together the video for 'System', a track off his album Lantern.
"I thought of classic rave visuals and cg stock art of the late 90s where the grid of the city would be superimposed with circuit boards and processors." - Dominic Flannigan
In order to shoot the video they hired a helicopter to fly over New York City at twilight. Once they had the footage, Nic Hamilton worked his magic with some CG to develop a tripped out kaleidoscope effect inspired by Philip Glass’ 1000 Airplanes On The Roof. The finished product is a mesmerizing visual for Hudson Mohawke's experimental production.
