I'm not going to judge the play because I haven't seen it (and I probably won't), but it seems like this new play with David Hasselhoff is butchering the disco era.

Hasselhoff stars as a DJ living on the party island of Ibiza in the new play titled Last Night A DJ Saved My Life. I'm speechless as I watch the trailer in disbelief that they actually went ahead and put this into production. I mean, don't get me wrong, disco is a lot of fun. Plus the history of dance music lies with the beginning of the disco era and the clubs that spawned from it, but come on, this play looks ridiculous.

The play's plot revolves around a DJ, Hasselhoff, who just went through a messy divorce and is struggling to keep his party daughter under control. Living on the island of Ibiza can't be easy when you're a DJ trying to raise a family. Judging from the trailer, the play might dish out a few laughs.
