When Apple OS X El Capitan was first released, we issued a warning stating that numerous popular Native Instruments products such as Komplete, Traktor and Maschine were not functioning on the new operating system.
Today those issues are finally fixed.
Native Instruments has released an article stating that the following products may have been crashing with El Capitan, resulting in the loss of all unsaved data:
- Traktor Kontrol S4 (MK1)
- Traktor Kontrol X1 (MK1)
- Traktor Audio 2 (MK1)
- Audio 8 DJ
- Audio 4 DJ
- Audio 2 DJ (MK1)
- Maschine (MK1)
- Rig Kontrol 3
To resolve these issues you can simply download the 2.8.0 drivers here.
There was also an issue with Logic Pro X not registering the Audio Unit (AU) Plug-ins from Native Instruments. To fix this issue simply go download and install the OS X 10.11.1 update by clicking on the Apple symbol on your Desktop and choosing Software Updates. Then reset and rescan your audio units.
