On November 13, 2015 a series of organized attacks rang through the city of Paris leaving 129 people dead. One of the attacks took place at a concert for the band Eagles of Death Metal which was being held at the Bataclan. It was first reported that 100 hostages were taken at the venue, but by Monday it has now been confirmed that 118 were killed. Reports coming in from those who describe the account are giving us insight into the terror that took place.
“Before they saw anything, they heard automatic machine gunfire,” says the brother of drummer Julian Dorio who told Atlanta’s Channel 2 Action News of the account. “It was so loud, it was louder than the band, and they hit the stage floor. As they got up to try to evacuate they saw men with machine guns just shooting anything and everything in the venue … Julian, the lead singer and some of the crew, there was a door back of the stage that led to a street and they flew out the back door.”
A video has now surfaced that shows the exact moment the attack began. You will not see anyone being shot in the video, but the scene does show the chilling moment that the lives of those inside the venue changed forever.
