Beatport Taps DJs Worldwide to Help Fight Climate Change with 24 Hour Live Stream

Beatport has rallied it's network of DJs and producers to contribute to the #ListenParis2015 climate change awareness initiative.

Artists from all over the world have provided a custom soundtrack a worldwide silent disco and communal music event taking place during the UN Climate Change Conference in Paris. On Saturday, December 5th at 5:00 p.m. Paris time and continuing for 24 hours, BEATPORT will provide a live stream of music.

"We applaud the efforts of the #ListenParis2015 organizers and our global community of DJs and creators for their support and involvement in such an important and global initiative," said Beatport President and CEO Greg Consiglio. "Resolution of the climate change issue requires cooperation, inspiration, and communication among citizens and leaders from diverse cultures and backgrounds worldwide. What better way to contribute than through the universal language of electronic music?"
