It was a good year for one Isabelle Rezazadeh aka REZZ. She put out records on two of electronic music’s most influential labels (OWSLA / mau5trap), played some of the biggest festivals in North America and has accumulated a dedicated and rapidly growing fanbase in roughly 12 months.
Her signature style of dark dystopian techy beats has helped her blaze a quick trail towards the top of the heap and to catch the attention of some of the world’s biggest EDM artists (deadmau5, Skrillex, etc).
We have been paying close attention to this 20-year-old from Niagra Falls, and our music editors slotted her in the number one spot on Magnetic’s Top Ten Emerging Artists of 2015.
I got the chance to catch up with REZZ before the madness of NYE to discuss her massive 2015, her creative influences and get the scoop on next years plans.
