Here’s a list of the best this little isle has to offer. Trust me you’ll be spoilt for choice!

Let It Bleed New Years Day: Todd Terje (Live) Ben Pearce and more

‘’Hands down the best line up we’ve put on to date” – Let it Bleed have really hit one out of the ballpark with this one. A yet to be announced mystery venue in Aberdeen will play host to Norwegian electronic maestro Todd Terje with his live escapade sure to raise the roof and a smile. Ben Pearce and Theo Kottis will join him, along with a whole host of DJs from the North East. Tickets available at RA.

In:Motion presents NYD

In:Motion have really pulled out all the stops on this one. There’s an abundance of talent spanning five rooms; the main room headed up by Adam Beyer and the unstoppable Rødhåd, while the marble factory sees a live set from Âme, as well as big players Sasha, Leon Vynehall and a tasty Joy O/Job Jobse B2B. And it doesn’t even stop there - with treats round every corner, the South West is the place to be this NYD. Grab your tickets!

LWE NYD 2016 presents Dream Don't Sleep

Trust in LWE, they have brought us many tasty events this year spanning genres and venues. On 1st January, they will showcase a shed load of names at regular haunt, Tobacco Dock. Maceo Plex is taking over The Great Gallery with his Dream Don’t Sleep concept, bringing along Âme and Mano Le Tough, among others. The Car Park sees Adam Beyer, Anja Schneider, Bicep and more taking to the decks, whilst the Little Gallery is commandeered by Paul Woolford, Huxley and other big names. We Concur & Avant Garde NYD with Dixon, Daphni & DJ Koze

Get all those D’s in your system with this stonking line-up – RA Poll 2015 number 1 DJ, Dixon, the mighty Daphni and electronic veteran, DJ Koze. We Concur and Avant Garde have made sure this one will kick your year off to a brilliant start, not only promising one of the best NYD line-ups on this list, but also hosting the occasion in a seldom used former train depot in Central London. Don’t let this one slip by, cop yourself a ticket.

The Hydra: Electric Minds NYD

The Hydra’s ultimate party of the year promises to more than live up to the throng of nights that preceded it. Taking place in usual haunt Studio Spaces, The Hydra have teamed up with Electric Minds to bring you ten hours of dance. John Talabot heads up the roster, alongside a live showcase from Ame, who is really dedicating himself to the NYD cause this year! Also bringing the vibes – groove general Jeremy Underground, German master Move D and Talabot’s collaborator Axel Boman. If you need persuading on this one, get them ears checked. Oval Space Music x NYD with Jeff Mills, Radio Slave & Dasha Rush

Oval Space brings one of the founding fathers of Detroit techno to their hallowed walls, don-daddio Jeff Mills. Joining the Underground Resistance champion is Radio Slave, so expect your mind to be fried and your face to be melted, in a good way. This event speaks for itself - come and see a master at work. Secretsundaze NYD with Leon Vynehall, Martyn, Joey Anderson, Giles Smith & James Priestley

Since its inception in 2002, London’s notorious Sunday party has been bringing the residents of the British capital the best in underground electronic music. The 1 of January 2016 proves to be no different, except it’s taking place on a Friday not Sunday. But that really doesn’t matter. Brighton’s Leon Vynehall heads up the evening at Shapes, with Martyn and Joey Anderson bringing their expert selections to East London. Secretsundaze never disappoints, never. The Rainbow Venues: New Years Day

The Rainbow in Birmingham is throwing a party across two spaces this NYD, and it’s set to blow the roof off. Do Not Sleep are hosting in the Warehouse with powerhouse Dennis Ferrer, Dungeon Meat, Hot Creations Richy Ahmed and a triple B2B from Darius Syrossian, Sante and Sidney Charles. To help along the 12 hour party, The Blackbox brings Martin Buttrich, Derrick Carter and Adam Shelton to the decks – get your energy bars in! RA have got your tickets

Shin/NYD - Ben Klock, Joris Voorn, Pan-Pot, George Fitzgerald, Mind Against, Gerd Janson

Newcastle promoters Shindig have lined up a killer night, booking some of the best in their fields. Berghain regular Ben Klock will shower down his techno offerings, alongside Dutch talent Joris Voorn. Also on the roster, electronic music geek Gerd Janson, a man often referred to as the “DJ’s DJ”, and Londoner George Fitzgerald. Sink your teeth into this one - grab tickets for your first treat of 2016.

NYD - Day & Night at The Warehouse Project

Their reputation precedes them as a club series, known for booking hosts of cracking DJs and bands. The first party of 2016, and the last party of The Warehouse Project’s autumn/winter stint, is peppered with huge names including Nina KravizBen Klock, Skream and Midland. A truly religious experience will transpire when Robert Hood presents Floorplan – having seen him play before, it is something that simply cannot be missed! Tickets via RA.

Mono_cult NYD 2016... The Last Dance

The last dance is upon us. Since 2007 mono_cult has been a pillar of Leeds electronic nightlife but they will be hanging up their hat after this final knees-up. If that hasn’t sold you then I don’t know what will! Nina Kraviz heads up the dance with John Talabot and Bicep also taking up the reins. Room 2 is aptly commandeered by Midland, a long-time friend of mono_cult – one of his first ever sets was at their NYD party in 2010, so it’s only right he returns this year for their send off. Get those tickets and join them for the last time this NYD!
