Results for the Drum and Bass Arena Awards 2016
It's that time of year again - the air is frosty but the Drum and Bass is blazing and the time for reckoning is upon the DnB scene. Artists, MC's and producers have slaved away all year generating tunes to appease our salivating greed for a banger and it's time that graft got glorified.
Electric Brixton in London housed this year's Drum and Bass Arena Awards. This is the 7th year running and each year, both the crowd and atmosphere swells. Tables were reigned over with representation from RAM, Hospital, Liquicity, Shogun, Spearhead and the rest of the best. Friction was perched near the front with his snapback facing the wrong way and the Spearhead table seemed merry. The vibe was hype, pumped up gun fingers stabbed the air regularly and come the end of the night, Andy C was seen cutting a path back to the RAM table with a big bottle of spirits in tow - undoubtedly appropriate celebrations were had by all.
So props where props are due to all the winners, nominee's and people who help to make the night such a wicked nod to the scene and its many accomplishments.
Without further ado...the winners of this year's Drum and Bass Arena Awards are:
