We only have a couple of charts left until the year is up but there's still plenty of outstanding house music to showcase. System2 is back in the top ten chart with a free download, Daniel Bortz is in the chart also with his signature bleepy style tech, and of course our number one tune of the week by producer extraordinaire, Lone!
1. 'Jaded (Lone Remix)' - Disclosure
Disclosure hits the top ten house music chart two weeks in a row thanks to their two most recent singles being released one week apart. Last week they notched at number two with their own VIP rework of "Magnets" and this week they take the top spot with some assistance from Matt Cutler aka Lone.
Lone first popped up on my radar about five years ago with the ravey "Pineapple Crush" and then again a few years later with his landmark R&S track "Airglow Fires," but he appears to be back on stellar form thanks to this wonderfully crafted remix which has all the warm and fuzzy elements that we yearn for during the winter.
2. 'Paia' - Fat Sushi
The Swiss duo known as Fat Sushi return to Suara for a two tracker that contains this beauty of a tune.
3. 'Glue' - System2
The giving season is here early because one of my favorite house music duos, System2 is giving away a free track every day until Christmas and this particular tune is my favorite so far.
4. 'Phantasy' - Deejay Astral
[W&O Street Tracks]
The artist formerly known simply as Palace has adopted a new moniker for his newest release on Waze & Odyssey's imprint, W&O Street Tracks.
5. 'Don't Forget Your Sword' - Daniel Bortz
The third in the Bella Avgvsta series by Daniel Bortz features the strangely ominous tune 'Don't Forget Your Sword', which would fit perfectly in with that of a Tale Of Us set.
6. 'Selfless' - Dimitris Anagnostou
With only two minutes of this wonderful tune to share, it's highly evident that it's a special one that is sure to take you on through some hypnotic grooves.
7. 'Colt (George Fitzgerald Remix)' - Dense & Pika
Dense & Pika's underground smash, 'Colt' gets a well-deserved house remix from George Fitzgerald.
8. 'Isola' - Ripperton
The sheer elegance of Ripperton's productions never ceases to amaze and his latest 'Isola' is certainly no exception.
9. 'Tell Me Why' - Borrowed Identity
[Let's Play House]
Let's Play House never lets me down and the 9th release in their White Label Series comes from a producer by the name of Borrowed Identity.
10. 'Sabor' - Red Axes
Damian Lazarus' Crosstown Rebels imprint has had probably it's best year yet thanks to the variety of the output, including this latest one from Israeli producer, Red Axes.
