Like many others over this past weekend, Chet Faker braved the blizzard that brought over 26 inches of snow to NYC, in the second biggest snow storm in the city's history. The storm left at least 19 dead and affected approximately 85 million people.

At the moment, Faker is at his Brooklyn home studio working on finishing his follow up album to 2014's Built On Glass.

The Australian musician, who is based in NYC, sampled Mayor Bill Deblasio's speech that warned of the extreme weather and declared a state of emergency. He paired the sample with a steady guitar riff, ambient tones and a jazzy percussive rhythm. He's made 'In Between' available a free download which you can listen and download below.
