Pioneer DJ Unveil New Stadium Focused CDJ and DJM Tour Prototypes

Designed to be used in a stadium, festival or large club setting

With NAMM currently underway, Pioneer DJ has revealed a new prototype of a CDJ and mixer with a focus on large scale capabilities.

The new Pioneer prototype CDJ-Tour1 and DJM-Tour1 are aimed at the high-end DJ market and are designed to be used in stadiums, festivals or high capacity clubs. The main additions to the hardware are computer screens that allow for built-in use of Pioneer's Rekordbox DJ software.

The Tour line looks extremely similar to the already popular high-end Nexus line from Pioneer, but there are in fact more controls on the prototype. Other specifications include shock resistance bumpers and another headphone jack.

The Tour series won't be making it's way into the enthusiasts home any time soon, but it's easy to see many festivals and stadiums getting their hands on this new gear. View photos via DJ Tech Tools below.
