You might expect hard hitting Dubstep, maybe Trap or even more upbeat genres when you witness Zeds Dead perform, but their taste in music is much more than what we get in their productions or DJ sets. Originally, they were heavily influenced by Hip-Hop culture during the early days of their musical careers and have carried that style with them to this day. In order to showcase the Zeds Dead we don't normally get to hear, the Toronto based duo have put together a new mix that reveals their other side.

The new mix series from Zeds Dead is called Catching Z's and features a more eclectic range of music. Volume 1 sets the tone and highlights tracks that ZD listens to on their downtime away from the stage.

"We wanted to find a way to showcase some of the tracks that influence us and that we go to when we're enjoying a little downtime. Those Sundaze moments, the twilight hours after the party, or when you're just trying to chill...This is Catching Z's, a mix series for those moments in life when you want things to move a little more slowly."

Listen to the new mix and view the tracklist below.
