Swedish production duo Galantis threw it down for a sold out show at the Concord Music Hall last week. Having been nominated for a Grammy for their hit track “Runway (U&I)”, fans packed the venue in anticipation for their live performance.

Consisting of Christian Karlsson and Linus Eklow, they wasted no time in throwing down a wild party, hitting the crowd with a blast of confetti to add to the madness. Not surprisingly they played most of their hits from their album Pharmacy, including 'You', 'Runaway (U&I)' and 'Gold Dust'.

Their performance allows for live percussive elements, which only enhances the richness of their sound. They’ve been going strong since 2012 and have quickly established themselves as a dance-festival standard thanks to their throbbing bassline and helium-pitched vocal samples.

Throughout their set, the mystical creature known as the Seafox takes over the visual screen in various appearances. Originally featured in the music video for 'Runaway (U&I)', the animal has become their spirit animal and is synonymous with their music.

Even with the rigors of a European tour in January and February that precedes a U.S. tour in March, they’ve announced plans to release a follow-up album in 2016.

In a recent interview with Irish public service media outlet RTE, Galantis discussed their upcoming tour and new show, among other things. In regards to the prospect of new music, Linus Eklöw remarked: “We are going to tour a lot in 2016 and we are constantly working on new music. There’s going to be a lot of new music coming out next year. I’m hoping for another album to see the day of light. We are going to try and reach all of the corners of the world next year.” With that being said, we can expect much more from Galantis in the coming months. Stay posted.
