The Pokémon Gameboy Soundtrack is Available on Vinyl

20 years of Pokémon brings the soundtrack to vinyl

For anyone who grew up in the '90s, Pokémon was probably an early obsession. Whether you collected the trading cards, watched the TV show or played your Gameboy for hours, Pokémon was a worldwide phenomenon.

Now you can relive your childhood as the soundtrack for the Pokémon Red and Blue Gameboy game has been pressed on vinyl. The nostalgia will be strong as you put on the record and get transported to the magical world by listening to the original theme music composed by Junichi Masuda.

Released on Moonshake Records, the vinyl features a color scheme similar to a Poké Ball and the sleeve depicts all the different characters in a scene reminiscent to that of The Beatles' Sgt. Peppers album.
