Rick Rubin, Flying Lotus, Claude VonStroke, Röyksopp Featured on Star Wars Inspired Compilation

Star Wars Headspace is a compilation album filled with tracks inspired by the Star Wars franchise

With the release of The Force Awakens, Star Wars was given new life through the revitalizing story line. Now that everyone seems to be aware of the iconic film series, it's only fitting that the music industry gets in on the action.

Today Zane Lowe revealed on his Beats 1 radio show via Apple Music that Rick Rubin had been putting together a compilation album featuring Star Wars inspired tracks. He tapped some of the most skilled producers in the game, including Flying Lotus, Bonobo, Shlohmo, Breakbot and others to deliver tracks with a common theme of the galaxy, far, far away. The finished product is a collection of interstellar tracks that pay homage to the legendary franchise, proving that Star Wars is definitely back in full force.
