Tara Brooks, reigning queen of the West Coast desert Techno scene, has blossomed into a talented artists by captivating listeners with her deep grooves, hypnotic rhythms and haunting melodies. Her standout set from the Robot Heart camp at Burning Man helped to create awareness for her distinct sound profile and, as the newest resident in the Desert Hearts family, she's steadily becoming a household name in the world of surreal and graceful dance music.

Her next release comes in the form of a collaboration with Brad Hart, who has landed releases on labels like Motek, Desert Hearts Records and Wulfpack among others. Together they deliver 'Sophrosyne', which is an ancient Greek term meaning temperance or self-control. It's a steady atmospheric trip that has the ability to transport the listen straight to The Playa with dreamy motifs and a driving rhythm.
