18-year-old Charged in Brutal Attack on Security Guard at Good Life Music Festival

Thanks to videos of the attack, authorities have found their man

After the video of an attack on a security guard was posted online, authorities have charged an 18-year-old man with assault, according to WA Today.

The altercation took place at the Good Life music festival in Perth, an under-18 event that boasted a lineup consisting of A$AP Rocky, RL Grime, Deorro, Marshmello and more. 

Footage of the attack was posted online showing a man wrestling with a security guard. Suddenly, another man walks up, kicks the security guard in the head and knocks him out. After the video went viral, investigators contacted the perpetrator's mother and he was turned in. Now the 18-year-old will face assault and trespassing charges on March 18th.
