After sustaining serious injuries due to falling off stage at the A State of Trance event in Holland, Paul van Dyk is currently recovering in a hospital.
While at the event, the German DJ and producer suffered from a cracked vertebrae and a concussion, which lead to him being airlifted to a hospital in Utrecht. His team wrote on Facebook to give fans an update on the situation.
"We'd like to express our heartfelt thanks and gratitude for everyone's overwhelming support for PvD this past week. We have very good news to report as Paul is fully conscious and now under normal care.
"Paul did sustain a concussion and cracked vertebrae. Though he must remain under hospital care while his condition improves, we expect Paul to recover fully from his injuries. PvD deeply appreciates your support and looks forward to touring again as soon as possible."
All upcoming gigs have been cancelled indefinitely and we will keep you updated as more news surfaces.
