Social media is a powerful tool in today's society, and although we have freedom of speech, that doesn't mean people can just say whatever they want. I mean, people can definitely say whatever they want, but they can't control how society will react. We have heard stories of people losing their jobs because they said something racist or derogatory on social media. Be warned, it does happen. 

Today, one fan may be feeling the impact of his supposedly racist remarks directed at Grime pioneer and MC, Stormzy. The artist called out a fan who posted a hateful message on Facebook with a racial slur. He then took to Twitter to rally his followers in opposition.

Stormzy tweeted out the Facebook post, asking his fans to retweet, saying “hopefully young lovely Joey here’s employer, university or mother can see this.” You can read more of Stormzy's tweets below.
