Coachella Promoters Announce Major Festival In October
"Coachella in October" is what some publications have called it, although that may be a bit misleading as it's actually called Desert Trip. This festival aims to be the biggest Rock and Roll festival of our time, while Coachella focuses heavily on various genres, including EDM.
Goldenvoice, the company behind Coachella & Stagecoach, have booked Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, the Rolling Stones, The Who, Neil Young and Pink Floyd's Roger Waters, all Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees, for Oct. 7-9 at the Empire Polo Field in Indio, CA.
Ticket prices have been announced and the rest of the lineup could be revealed in the coming months, but this seems like a rock fan's wet dream already. It's definitely much different than Coachella itself and it may be the last time to see many of these acts on such a grand scale. View ticket information below and check back for more news coming soon.
