After Defending Her Racist and Homophobic Rant, Now Azealia Banks Has Issued an Apology

A week of defending her actions which led to some consequences, Azealia realizes she was wrong

After nearly a week of defending the racist and homophobic insults she made against Zayn Malik, Skai Jackson, and the UK Hip Hop community, Azealia Banks has now issued an apology.

Last week Azealia made headlines after going off on an extensive Twitter rant where she called the former One Direction star a "paki", 'sand nigga', 'faggot', and a "curry scented bitch". She also attacked his mother when she called her “a dirty refugee who won’t be granted asylum”. Those tweets have since been deleted and her Twitter account was suspended.

Her actions led to her removal from Rinse | Born & Bred Festival and she was dropped by her UK booking agency. There were even talks about her being banned from the UK altogether as House Office was investigating the situation.
