International Music Summit Malta Announce First Wave of Speakers

Pete Tong, Eli & Fur and Stefano Ritteri are some of the first speakers to be unveiled for the electronic music learning experience

With just over a month to go until the International Music Summit takes place on the sunny isle of Malta, the organisers announce their first batch of speakers for the three-day event, aimed at engaging and inspiring the next generation of electronic music professionals.

Long-standing affiliate Pete Tong is included in the initial round-up, alongside producers, Eli & Fur and Stefano Ritteri, who will be delivering a masterclass in Ableton Live. Fellow Point Blank associate Ski Oakenfull will deliver a deconstruction, taking his class on a journey through tracks while Red Bull Studios’ Chief Engineer, Frank De Jong, will share his deep knowledge of musical engineering.

Also joining the roster, CR2 Records label head, Mark Brown, who has pioneered releases from the likes of David Guetta, Eric Prydz and Steve Angello, and touching on the subject of legal and music rights, Mark Lawrence from the Association For Electronic Music and Robert Horsfall of Sound Advice LLP.

The event will also cover the world of events with talks and tips from the director of Hideout Festival and Lost & Found, Wilf Gregory, former club booker and owner of IBZ Entertainment, Danny Whittle and Head of Festival Events Press at Listen UP PR, Lucy Allen.
