Back in January we were given the first glimpse of Pioneer's new stadium focused series of DJ gear called the TOUR1 series. Now the company is finally ready to ship it out to music festivals and mega-clubs this summer 2016.
Set to be released in August, the TOUR1 equipment will come with a heft price tag. The CDJ-TOUR1 will set you back $4,999, while the DJM-TOUR1 runs for $5,999. The high price is not for nothing, as there is an incredible amount of technology packed into the new gear. Both the CDJ and DJM come with a 13" screen allowing the user to browse tracks and see waveforms easier. Also, there is a special converter from ESS that allows for the best audio output on the biggest stages in the world.
As with all new Pioneer equipment, the TOUR1 series comes fully integrated with the Rekordbox software. Two headphones jacks allow for easy b2b action and there's also a five-port LAN hub to connect up to five laptops or different players.
You can expect this to be used at major festivals this summer like EDC and Tomorrowland, along with future events like Ultra. Watch the official gear trailer below.
