Not only have Electric Minds championed releases from a killer collection of producers, they’ve also wielded a reputation as one of the most consistent party hosts around. Curating events, not just across the UK, but all over the world, it’s no surprise that their 2016 roster is one to shout out from the rooftops.
Headed up by Dolan Bergin, they have one foot firmly planted in the festival circuit this summer, locking down stages at this weekend’s Junction 2, Farr Festival, Dimensions and Moroccan newbie, Oasis. Representing the crew at this myriad of festivals are Innervisions’ Dixon and Ame, the irrefutable Moodymann, disco dons Jeremy Underground and Hunee as well as Midland, Bicep and Daniel Avery.
Stepping out into European territory, Electric Minds will be taking over several respected establishments, namely Copenhagen’s Culture Box, Paris’ Concrete and Berlin’s infamous Panorama Bar. These dates see label affiliate Move D heading up the bill with Australia’s groove master Harvey Sutherland, the bearded Prosumer and melodic techno trojans, Kowton and Endian spanning the three nights.
Other dates include a partnering with the newly refurbished Jazz Cafe in Camden, showcasing Amp Fiddler and AD Bourke, an all night takeover with Mano Le Tough at South London venue The Columbian and a showdown at New York’s Sublimate with Ben UFO and Joy Orbison.
Electric Minds have really pulled out the stops this season and we simply can’t wait to hustle down to see what they have in store.
