Melbourne duo Kllo are fast on the rise and have recently unveiled a new single off their forthcoming Ghostly International debut EP, Well Worn.
'Walls To Build' fuses Simon Lam's synth lines with Chloe Kaul's vapor-trailed vocals in a brilliantly delicate manner. The new track follows lead single 'Bolide', which introduced many new fans to Kllo's distinct sound profile. This allowed them to get rotation on Australian radio, picking up spins on BBC Radio 1 and KCRW, and earned approval from various critics in the industry.
Although fairly new to many, Kllo have been steadily gaining well deserved praise following their breakthrough EP, Cusp. Since its release, the duo, who are also cousins, have played sold-out shows and festival slots throughout Australia and overseas, while also racking up millions of plays on Spotify. Their recent signing to Ghostly International and Different Recordings/PIAS was a big move that will propel them into the spotlight. You can bet we will be hearing a lot more from them in the future.
Listen to 'Walls To Build' below and look out for the Well Worn EP set to be released August 5th via Ghostly International (North America), Different Recordings/PIAS (UK/Europe/Japan) and Good Manners Records (AU/NZ/ROW).
