In a recent interview with Zane Lowe on Beats 1, Diplo discussed a plethora of projects he is currently working on including his recent track 'Cold Water' and his aspirations to follow up Drake and Rihanna's highly popular records that already dropped this summer.

The Mad Decent label head also revealed more about the forthcoming Major Lazer album, Music Is The Weapon, that is currently in the works. Diplo has been working solely on Major Lazer material for a while now, but the tracks on the album keep shuffling as pop stars like Beyonce and The Weeknd have already taken productions for their own projects. That being said, he did reveal that Major Lazer's fourth album will feature a number of high profile collaborations that fans can look forward to.

So far we can expect to see Travi$ Scott, Usher, Sia, and MØ on the follow up album to Peace Is The Mission which was released last year. As Diplo said he's really putting all his efforts into the new material, we can likely expect more collaborations to be included.

Expect a new Major Lazer single to be released in the coming month and the album could drop in the Fall or perhaps January 2017. Look out for more news coming soon and listen to the interview with Zane Lowe below.
