Proximity has since deleted their Facebook post as well. Sorry everyone, it seems as though this was a false alarm.
Three years ago Swedish House Mafia played their last gig, announcing that the supergroup consisting of Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, Steve Angello would be disbanding to pursue their own endeavors. Today Axwell ^ Ingrosso and Steve Angello are currently enjoying successful careers following the break-up, but many fans of the iconic trio would give anything to see them back together.
Now, via a Facebook post by Proximity, it has been revealed that a reunion tour is coming in 2017, which has sent the dance music industry into a frenzy in anticipation for what's to come.
Although Proximity's post does not reveal much, a follow up comment confirmed that a tour will be announced.
"A lot of people are asking for answers. This post is not a troll post - I'm not that cruel. But what I can say is that I have spoke to a few people in the music industry that Swedish House Mafia is indeed coming back in 2017 for a tour that is already confirmed.
"Disclaimer: But what I heard about the tour was not said or confirmed by Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, Steve Angello or their team."
Look for more news coming soon...
