An Instagram user named Sandra Xiong made the following post, which has since been deleted:
The comments section of the most recent post to the attendee's Instagram account contains messages of mourning from her friends and followers. Magnetic Magazine has contacted the San Bernardino County Coroner's office to confirm the rumors, but they have not issued an official statement at this time.
HARD Summer had been forced to relocate from the Fairplex in Pomona to the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California after the deaths of two attendees during last year's edition drew scrutiny from local lawmakers. HARD's subsequent event at the Fairplex was also cancelled, and additional restrictions had been imposed on last year's edition of HARD Day of the Dead.
Magnetic Magazine will update this piece with additional developments as more information becomes available.
